Default Oil Pressure Drops When Hot

I have 1999 dodge dakota sport 5.2L. I replaced oil pump and sending unit and also used a mechanical gauge. When the truck warms up and you revvv it up to higher rpms, after a couple seconds the oil pressure drops to nothing. If i turn it off for about 1 minute then start it back up, the oil pressure is great. There are no sounds, only when the oil pressure drops you can hear the valvetrain. What could it possibly be?

hoping everything is stock... no oil coolers, remote filters etc. did not use a Hi volumn pump...
reving it up.... how hi?
normal operation no problem?

suggestion
taking a swag... remove valve covers ck to see if oil is pooling in heads sludge buildup can hinder oil return to pan...

level low?

the 318 is notorious for low oil pressure (I've had 2-3 of them in vans). Valve noise usually told me to check level...now I suppose you've done that already. But maybe not.<G>

what miles? what oil you using? For my 97 with 150K I plan to use a mix of 10W-30 and a quart of 20W-50.
