everybody and they momma got train horns, im looking to set up my own sound, thats why i got this semi horn, nobody has a semi truck sound

 

well if you dont include me in that, then yes you are right nobody has them on a pickup. i just have them mounted under the toolbox.

the other is a pair of medium length maring horns...

what are you using to power them?

im cheating with 10 gallons @ 200PSI

 

dude if its a semi horn you HAVE to get the little pull rope to sound it just like the big boys got. i used to have like 7 or 8 of the small plastic horns on my old 87 cherokee when i tooted them it would play the dixie tune like in dukes of hazzard.

i bought a emergency tire pump for a car. rigged it up to just be on a toggle in my truck and its hard wired in. and then i took off the hose it comes with and hooked it up to a 2 gallon tank in my toolbox. Its cheaply done, but hey, it works and the neighbors hate it.

the horns i "acquired" from one of my dads wrecked freightliners.

 

see the hornblasters stuff is too new really, i can get the exact same trumpets that need just a lil tlc for a fraction of the price, and i dont care if they look good, as long as the sound is right
