I have an '04 QC, 2wd, 3.55 rear end. Brother in law has Tundra. Never raced them but the Dak feels a whole lot stronger. I'm pretty sure I could take him if I could keep wheelspin under control (yes, even with the anti-spin rear).
The dak is less refined than a new Tundra too, so that may be why you feel like your's is stronger.
When the hell did Tundras come with a 4.7? I raced a 5.7 and those bitches are fast i beat it, but for a QC big *** truck it hung with me pretty good, and his *** was bone stock.. if i was stock he would of tore my *** apart.

You know what could deffinately beat the 4.7 tundra?? My cc 5.2 with the manual tranny, yeah!! Its got the 9.25 rear diff, and 3.73 or 3.92 i can't remember haha..

And yes the new Tundra's flagship engine is the 5.7 but still have the 4.7 and (correct me if i am wrong) a 3.7 or 4.0 V6 for the super-base models.
Less refined how? Certainly not in looks!! Maybe the Dakota is quicker because it is a little lighter, due to the Tundra being a full size truck.
I dont know.. those full sized trucks can move with the 5.7... im not going to lie.. they are sick. Put one of those in a little frontier.. and that would be a sick *** truck.
I dont think i have ever raced a 4.7 Tundra, ive raced the Titan 5.6? and The tundra 5.7.. the titan was a cakewalk, but the 5.7 tun was a bit of challange not out of the hole but on top end.. he started to pull me when i hit 3rd.
