i have a 97 dakota with a 3.9 and i am having problems with the tranny and i was told it needed a rebuild but i wanted to get another opinion before i do. what it is doing is slipping and when you stop the truck tries to go forward and dies everytime when i stop at like a traffic light, and it kind of bogs down going up hills any info would help thanks it has 107k on it and it just had the fluid and filter changed like 2 months ago and the guy told me there was some metal in the pan?
