Default Diff fluids

Hey guys i'm gettin ready to change my front and rear diff next week and was wondering if you just fill them till it comes out of the hole or do you stop before them. And if i would over fill it is there a breather hole it will be able to escape out of so it doesn't mess anything up. Thanks

Put in the first bottle of gear oil, then about half the second, then slowly add the rest of the second bottle. Fill it until the level of fluid is just below the bottom of the filler hole. Put your finger in and you can feel the level of the fluid. Level should be about 1/4 to 3/16th of an inch below the bottom of the filler hole. If you fill it too high it will eventually saturate the rubber plug and leak. There are no breather holes on the diff cover.

Also if you have LSD, don't forget to put the additive in first.
