truck is back and all is well again.

$475 + tax.

Parts needed for job: gasket, front seal, back seal
Parts provided by me: manual tranny fluid
Labor required: many hours * $90 an hour.

So it was an expensive lesson that I will NEVER forget, lol

I'm glad you were able to get that fixed, although it did cost a bit of money. As worried as you were that something was seriouly wrong, I bet the few hundred you paid, you are able to sleep at night now.

I can't believe the title I gave to this thread, lol

Well the tranny has been good with about 1000 miles on it since the repair along with a trip to NH and back(CT) Towing my motorcycle.

Unfortunatly, the check-engine light is now on and I have some engine problems. I'll post a new thread about those...
