I just got off for spring break (I'm a teacher). I've been meaning to do the brakes on my R/T for a while. I had the chance, and with my luck, I knew better than to wait until next week to do them myself, so I started tonight. Things were going smoothly until I tried to put the driver's side caliper back on....

The retaining bolts wouldn't thread. I pulled the caliper off and on agian to make sure it was lining up...wouldn't thread.....I turns out that the bracket the retaining bolts thread into (I assume this is part of the contorl arm, is it?) HAS NO THREADS. What do I do now?

 

Have heard of this happening the threads have stripped out. Best fix is a helicoil and it is 9mm I believe and around where I am the only place that has them is NAPA.
