Default New to the forum with 2004 Dakota 3.7L

I just retired an old Ford Explorer for a newer one(for my wife) so now I get the Dakota. I'm looking forward to doing a few mods, probably CAI, performance chip, paint(thinking flat black), and whatever else I can find that's reasonable on my wallet.

I'm finding the search feature on here not so helpful. Maybe it's that there aren't too many people on here modifying or working on the 3.7L??? I dunno, anyway this forum looks real helpful. I hope I can contribute a thing or two.
Also this forum keeps logging me off every couple minutes...I'll check to see if it's some setting, it's quite annoying.

Oh, I live in St Pete FL.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of info all around. You may just need to reword your search info. A good place to find performance parts is www.summitracing.com www.ebay.com craigslist.org www.mopar.com

Yeah the 3.7 is not quite as popular seeing it was only used in the 03 and 04s. But its very comparable to the 4.7 seeing its the same minus 2 cylinders. So even 4.7 issues can be used to help you.

And before anyone else tells you. No go on the chip, get a handheld tuner, its the only way to go these days.

And welcome to the forum.
