Default Sirius for 2004 Dakota Quad Cab

Just picked up a 2004 Dakota and looking to install sirius. Not finding much info so far online.

Any ideas?...Need a new head unit?

I have Part Number-5064125ad as a unit.

Has anyone done this and have pics of install?

Thank You in advance

You can buy any unit. Just go to Best Buy or any electronics store. Heck probably walmart. Most don't need any install of wires. Just have a car kit which plugs into the cigarette lighter and transmits through the radio.

i have xm but this is where i mounted mine. i now have the wires a little more hidden and it is a little harder to get to the climate control **** but i've gotten used to it and its in a convenient spot to see and change and stuff. i have the sony head unit with the aux in on the front that i ran it to. is your head unit stock or what i was kinda confused with your post about that. if it is i think they make a sure connect to stock stereos that you could look into. i got a black cable instead of that white one and tucked those two wires up into there a little more where you can barely see them.

get one of the delphi units or something like that and build yourself a custom center console for it, then if you wanted to you could get the boombox for it also and carry it into your house

I'll post mine in a bit. Mine uses SureConnect- I popped the dash face off, and ran all the wires behind it. Power comes up through the bottom of the dash and out the top, antenna goes in the top of the dash, out the bottom, twirls around the AC ducting once or twice, splits off at the doorjamb. The contactor goes out the doorjamb, under the hood hinge, up the fender, and clips on the OEM antenna.

The main antenna goes up the A post, along the headliner trim, out the pop-out window, then sticks to the roof. But min'e a club cab, you're on your own for the main antenna...rear sliding window?
