I'd like some pics of it installed. I've just got a single 12" chillin in a pre-made box sittin on the back seat. I'd love to put it somewhere on the floor or something...

CS, the pictures on page 1 are how it will be installed i thought i posted an installed photo), i just gotta paint it boack temporarily then carpet it.
Im on my phone right now, waiting for my dad to go to work so I can put it all in. I just have to connect ground and remote on inside the dash, and run the remote on and RCA cables to the passenger seat.

Sorry, must have missed it...

The box looks great. I am on the same college budget you are so building my own box would be awesome.

Home depot here has Quarter sheets of 3/4" MDF. I probably could have got away with one but I meesed up one of the side panels so i had to use another quarter sheet (now hidden under my bed).

Got head unit in, heading to radioshack to pick up new cnnectors..sub has smaller than we have stock of.

Suppose it helps to turn the loudness setting to high. Even though I still have gain all the way up.

I have no earthly idea where the dial stops, but it hurts my ears around 25 and I can hear it outside the truck with the doors and windows closed in the driveway at 18.

I'll take better pictures with my camera when i locate batteries...

The power wire goes under the driver side hood hinge, through the factory door grommet, around the computer, under the floor trim, across the carpet, out the existing hole for the power driver's seat, under the seat slider, under the center seat, under the passenger seat slider.

The remote-on wire comes out of the harness, down through the dash behind the AC controls, out the lower left corner, under the gas pedal, across (below) the carpet to the door trim, and follows the power cable.

Ground is on the right front passenger seat mounting bolt, under the plastic trim. Then just goes directly to the amp terminals a foot away.

RCA cables go down through the dash behind the AC controls, out the bottom right hole, across (under) the carpet to the passenger kick panel, down the door trim, then come across under the carpet under the passenger seat then pop out a small incision i made in the carpet and sound deadener.

XM antenna cables come out of the dash the same as the RCA cables, but go across the AC ducting behind the glovebox, then the splitter is located inside the passenger kickpanel. The transmitter coupling goes around the weatherstripping, through the fender, then come out the hood behind the hood hinge and clip on the dodge antenna. The XM antenna continues up the A pillar, across the roof trim, then becomes exposed as it loops through the pop-out window and sticks to the roof.

XM power comes up through the dash quite literally, comes up from the bottom, behind the AC, through the adapter plate for the head unit, then out the top of the dash, where the holder is.
