I went wider for contact patch. Couple extra mm's of tread on the road.
Just checked my sidewall. Door jamb says 215/75-15, i have 265/70-16's now.
What idiot put's 215's on a truck???!
lookin good man..i was going to get 265/70/16 on my truck but the 265/75 is a little bit taller (the 70 is wider) of a tire and taller is the look i was going for..

thanks man..yeah believe it or not i bought thoes hankooks of ebay for 720$ (new) with free shipping no sales tax...so it come sout to 180 a tire..around where i live (NY) they were like 220$ a peice not including sales tax..
For a lowrider, I agree.
General rule of thumb is 1/2 of the tire height or less should be wheel, for rigs that actually get used offroad.
So if you're running 32"+ tires, then the 16 is a decent choice still, but the only reason I'll ever go with bigger than 15" on a 4x4 is if the brakes just won't fit.
yeah luckily no major damage..i need a new rear bumper and a little body work..there going to be able to save the decal..all it did was push the part below the rear tail light ( where the metal bends around) strait..so im going to have the body shop at work hook me up and fix it.. either way its going to be at lease a 500 $ mistake lol
The tires look good, and would look awsome with just a few inches of lift.
i was thinking about a roll pan actualy..but i have the tow package and im pretty sure you cant have a tow package with a roll pan..right?.. I need that to pull my snowmobile and stuff around
