Default Dakota front end info

I have a '99 Dakota Sport 3.9 4x4 with the 8.25 rear and 3.55 gears. I'm wondering if anyone knows what front end I have. Is it a Dana 44 differential converted to IFS? I've heard alot of rumors but nothing substantial. Any info would be great. Thanks!

No it is not a Dana 44. It is a AMC 35.

AMC? Really? You're sure its not a DANA 35? Like I said I don't have a clue so I just want to be sure.
