Engine Code P0420 What does it mean?
This is on my 02 Dakota 4WD QC with 5.9L
I get a randon CEL and it is for P0420 and this is what it means:
P0420 (M) 1/1 Catalytic Converter Efficiency Catalyst 1/1 efficiency below required level.
Now how do I fix this. Is the catalytic converter bad, O2 sensor bad?
I reset the code and sometimes it comes right back and others times it takes about 100-200 miles to reappear.
