hooking up electric seats

Default hooking up electric seats

i got a set of slt leather seats for $90 but my slt never had leather and power fog lights ect so what do i need to do to hook up these seats in my truck is it as easy as just running hot wires and cutting the plug off the seats and running the hot wires to power them or do i got this all wrong

Are they 2 wire? I don't have them in my truck so I have no idea. But if they're 2 wire then I would imagine you're right. Just make sure to use a fuse.

Wink i got it

i went to dodge a got a wiring schematic and the hot wire goes to fuse position #14 with a 50amp fuse and the ground just goes straight to the mounting bolt for the seat

well i got my seats sold and new ones in i sold the cloth seats for $100 and bought leather for $110 the seats i got where out of a 99 durango with the swade shoulders and the center console i wanted they didnt have so i got a gray one out of a 03 durango and got interior paint and tagged it black the seats are fricken sweet

well when i bolted the seats in only the front two bolts line up so i had to make a bracket about 3in long with two holes one bolts it to the floor and the other bolts to the mounting hole on the seat i used 3/8 stainless to do mine but here is the link for the seats cause i could not figure it out

do you guys now of anybody who is interested in a jet stage 2 chip only used for about six months and upgraded to a programer will concider trades let me know what you got pn 90402s i believe its off a 04 4.7l at 4x4 new is about $275 believe i still have the box
