Default Interested in joining the club, had a quick question. Timing chain?

I am considering joining the dodge family.

The reason is, i am in the market for a truck. The diesel 12v is what i would want ideally. Ill be towing my miata about 12 times a year with whatever truck i do decide to go with. However i just don't have the funds for a diesel at this time.

Which brings me to the dakota. I found a 5.2L 4x4 extended cab 5-speed with 87k miles on it for around 5k. Its got a few tastefully done mods to it. What i am unsure about is the timing belt/chain.

I assume it is something that needs to be replaced around the 90k mark, are the 5.2l motors any different? Aside from the ball joints being a pretty big issue with these trucks is there anything else i should look at that isnt in the FAQ? I also wasn't able to find this trucks towing capacity, i assume it can handle 5k lbs, or can it? How many miles do these guys generally go for?

Thanks guys/gals

Now for the pictures:
