Default converting old 4.7 into 4.7 HO

Hi, thank you with previouse help with my gearing questions, but now i've got a question on installing 4.7HO cams and intake onto my 2000 4.7 Dakota. I've heard this swap in the Grand Cherokee's with similar motors, and was wondering if it is possible with MY Dakota.

Also, i thought the Grand Cherokee and the Dakota shared the same 4.7 and 4.7 HO motors, so why does the grand cherokee redline higher? If i swap HO cams and intake into my dakota, will it have a higher redline?

Thank you.

The H/O cams on the base 4.7L are worth 20-25RWHP. The 2002 H/O intake is worth about 10-15 RWHP over the 1999-2002 base 4.7L intakes.

The 2008 intake would be the best choice if you where looking to swap out your intake manifold for performance reasons. Its worth approximately 10-15RWHP over the 2002 H/O intake.

H/O cams and 2008 intake with a 70mm throttle body will wake up ANY 4.7L.

Just curious how this went? your correct these 4.7's are the same from DC to Jeep although the HO is obviously a better build not that the standard is not, the 2008 intake will require an expensive adapter plate, if you havent I would talk to Dan at the fastman link below, also included are the differences between the two engines as you can see its more than just the cams and intake.
I was able to search the internet and found a 2002HO intake bolts right up to your standard TB with three bolts

follow this link to t WJ engine specifications and look at the side by side internal comparisson of the two engines
