Default Turns over, but won't crank sometimes

For the second time in the last couple of weeks I couldn't get my 2000 Dakota V6 5speed to crank. It was getting fuel and fire. The injectors were getting power, fuel pump was working, plugs were firing, and no codes. I even tried starter fluid with no luck.
When it finally starts, for the first few minutes, it misses really bad and won't idle before clearing up and running decent.
Cam sensor or Crank sensor? I hear the crank sensor is on the passenger side bell housing, but I can't seem to find it.

the cam and crank sensor are the same to say the least on the original magnum engines.. its under the the distributor cap. it looks like a black disc with 3 wires attached to it.

Remove your right front tire and inner fender splash shield. You'll see it.

Camshaft position sensor is located under the distributor cap.

Crankshaft position sensor is located on the right (passenger side) on the back of the engine/transmission bell housing. It's a pain to get to.
