big problem 2000 dakota

Default big problem 2000 dakota

i got a 2000 dakota 4wd 4.7L after driving it for about 1 hour it gives me multible codes a trans code crank code idle speed code cam code the fuel pump just run nonstop oh and it dies i thought it was the ecm so it is new i got new battery had the alt checked it is fine so now im lost can anyone help

ok i have tested the charging system found a bad ground strap so it is fixed but the thing is still not right the fuel pump sometimes dont shut off it just runs and still getting a cam code so i put a cps on and still pops up and idle speed controll so for a run down i put cps on ecm and fuel purg and i keep getting closer but still broke and running out of money

if i get a po340 code could that make the fuel pump run funny like not cycling or just not stop running untill you turn the key off

Did you have the ecm flashed at a dealership with your vin # program?
If you bought an aftermarked computer, that could be the problem.

it was doing the same thing before i changed the ecm

found the problem the crank sensor was failing with heat
