Default 5 speed transmission controller

Is there any way to adjust or control the 3-4 shift and the 4-5 shift rpm?
I'd be interested in a controller that would allow adjustability to the shift points. I have a 2004 Club Cab 4wd 4.7 litre v8. When transitioning from flat driving to slightly steep hill around 55 mph the engine rpm's are so low that you either have to push the throttle down excessively or push it down enough for it to downshift, or disengage the overdirve via the button on the shifter wich goes back to 3rd. It would be nice to be able to do a tap-down from 5th to 4th, just to keep the engine from lugging so much in high gear. Don't get me wrong, the truck pulls the hill fine, but If I have the cruise on the speed will drop about 3 or 4 mph before the throttle is opened up enough to accelerate back up to speed. If I kick out the overdrive, the throttle (pedal) hardly moves and the speed don't drop.
