Default Tire size change?

What if any are the consequences of going from a set of 215/75/15 tires to a set of 235/75/15 tires? How much will this hurt my fuel mileage? How much will my spedometer be off? My truck is a 2 wheel rive club cab with the 3.9L engine in it.

Your speedometer will read low by 4.26%, you probably won't notice any difference in gas milage with that small of a tire change.

It will read slower than you are actually moving. But at less than 5% difference, if it says your going 45, you're really going 47, and if it says your going 70, your really going 73... nothing to worry about as far as getting a speeding ticket.

You can stop by your Dodge dealer, they can re-calibrate the control unti to the new tire size. Its a common practice, and a 2 minute job. My dealer charges 50 bucks a pop to do it. But a lot of times they will do it for free if you tip the mechanic. Then you can run your bigger tires worry free.
