any recommendations as to where i should get a new ecu for my 2000 5.9L?

will any nv3500s hook up to my 5.9?

Anyways, you best bet I believe would be a SCT tuner with custom tunes to "remove" the automatic transmission.

Any NV3500 from a 5.2 or 3.9 will bolt to a 5.9. Be sure to use a 5.9 flywheel, the 5.2 is internally balanced, the 5.9 is externally balanced.
