noob questions about dakotas

Yeah to answer your question about what to look for when buying, that sticky pretty much sums it up. As you can see, I've got a '00 dakota with the 4.7. It seems like the perfect amount of power and economy. I had a 98 with the 5.9 before this one and it was great too but it was a regular two door cab. The engine was noticeable more powerful but I really like the space of my quad cab. Dakota's are great trucks and will hold up really well. I've got 190K on mine and it's still going strong. I haven't had to do any major repairs.

yeah its a 4.7L. its a 01 quad cab with matching cap. fully loaded. with 56k. KBB says private party price should be about 9300, dealer is asking 10900. you think offering 9500 is a good starting point?
