Default Header Question..

On my 04, 4.7 dak what is the best bang for the buck when it comes to headers?

Also, is there anything I should know once headers are installed. Any other Parts that need to be changed for the motor to run strong?. Any maintence on headers or a bolt on and go? dont know how the 4.7's respond to long tube headers.

Is there a noticeable difference in power/sound aswell?

I was looking on the Gibson website and in the installation instructions it showed the OE exhaust as manifolds, not tubular headers. Seems to me that they wouldn't flow as well, but I could be wrong.

No ramguy is right. They do flow good even though they are a manifold and not headers. I've heard that you don't pick up much with the headers. And as always LT's are a pita to instal.

But if you do get some go with JBA always a good bet.

i got the gibsons on mine and i noticed a little bit of diffrence weather or not its worth the price idk but only payed 120 for mine ceramic coted they are super easy to put in but one thing i learned is that dodge has the best gaskets for them they are diffrent then stock and slightly expensive but they are tin? and graphite but got a driver side for sale new for $8 + shipping.

installation is super easy if you remove your wheel well liners you can reach the manifold on both sides or for more room remove the tires its the easiest headers ive ever done
