HI I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota V6 and the new venture 231 transfer box has destroyed itself. I need a secondhand one and wondered if anyone knows if the same unit is used in any other Dodge or Chrysler vehicles that will give me a better chance of finding one over the pond in the UK.

Any NV231D or NP231D will work from a Dakota, ram, Vans. Jeeps have the same but the splines may be different. Also you should post this in the 2nd Gen. Dakota sub-forum. I will move it there just incase someone else has suggestions.
