Default tranny problems code p0733 and p0734

hi i looked around and couldn't find the info i needed so here we go. My moms 2002 dodge dakota 4.7v8 auto tranny truck got a p0733 and p0734 code which is 3rd and 4th gear ratio incorrect. The fluid level is good and it smells fine so my question is when i pull the pan if i dont notice anything strange like a frayed harness should i replace the shift solenoid or just replace the whole valve body? Also would that be one solenoid or two seperate ones and does anyone have a link to a manual that i could look and see the test procedure for the solenoids and which one controls which gear? The truck shifts fine in first and second but when it goes to third it acts like it goes into neutral and you get nothing not like it is not going into gear at all. Any help would be appriciated thanks in advance to point me in the right direction

Well i dropped the pan and found one whole bolt and one head of a broken bolt. There was no clutch material or metal shavings so i am going to pull the valve body and check the resistance of the shift solenoids.
