i'm replacing some stripped wheel studs on my '03 dakota 2wd,and the disc won't come off easily. does it have to be removed with a puller? and how about getting it back on? can't find any manuals for instructions. any help out there?[8D]

Default RE: replacing stripped wheel studs

I just replaced the front brakes and rotors and didn't need a puller. There are two bolts that hold the caliper in place, make sure you remove both before removing the caliper or you'll end up reverting to a hammer to beat the heck out of it!

I was told by a mechanic that newer vehicles (95-current) don't have rotors requiring pullers.
