Purchasing Dodge Dakota, towing questions, former owner
Agreed. I'll be selling the running boards, tonnaeu cover, and probably the the grill.
The cover is a very nice setup if anyone is interested, but I don't want it.

Quad cabs tend to bring quite a premium though, right? That's why I thought it was a good enough deal.
Amazing what KBB/NADA says about these things. I recall my old Dakota selling new in 2001 for $23k (about 5k off retail), and traded in 2005 with only 30k for $17k. As I will be taking this truck to my local drive in regularly (just like I did with my old one) the tonneau cover has to come off. Its a solid one that opens up 2/3s from the back like a normal one, and has 2 side opening ones closest to the cab, similar to a tool box.
Any ideas how much to price that? Shipping would be out of the question, so I guess I'd put it on craigslist locally.

nice looking truck does it have the 3.92's in the rear i think the tow capacity at least with a 5 speed is like 10,500 or 11,500 i forget what the book says if your still curious about that there is a chart in the owners manual
A friend of mine got a non-runner 2000 4.7 QC sport with barely 100k on it for $3,000.
