Default European Headlights- best?

Hi:
Noob here but had Dodges since 17 years old.

Have a 2000 Dak- headlights yellowed, OEM too expensive. Half my driving is in the dark, and lost too much illumination.

Anyone have a recommendation for after-market? Anyone who is NOT a vendor recommending their own product?

THANKS!

KenJ

You can get all sorts of products that can restore your OEM lenses to like new. Trust me, I had headlights that I could barely see any light through and I used a Mequires headlight restoration kit and they were good as new.

plus it's only 25 bucks, way cheaper than new headlights. Even if it doesn't work for you it is a cheap first step. Kinda like why replace an engine when a spark plug will do?

I bought a 4-inch cloth polishing wheel and some Maquires plastic polish. The wheel went on the arbor in my cordless drill and I did a lot of polishing....MAN, OH MAN....it made a HUGE difference on my 2000 SLT

But then, nothing beats E-codes (European-spec headlights). As far as I know, none exist - just those ricey lights that do nothing more than improve your self-image, and not put any more light on (& off) the road.
