ok i have a question. in my 99 the t-case shifter is kind of a PIA to reach all the time beacuse its so low, so i was going to have my buddy (RTdakota2001) weld me up some kind of extention for it. my question is, how do you remove the *** on the top of the stock arm? i dont think its threaded and if it is then mine is really stuck. and i dont want to break anything. so yeah, how do i get that *** off?

 

pop the center out (bit with the "directions" on it) and theres a nut under that. I use a small flat head and carefully work in down the side then around and pop it out. It might look like your being to rough but it comes back round later

Ive taken mine off a few time to clean and run wires and it looks fine.
