Default RPM limited issues

Hello all, I do apologize if I missed this topic in the FAQ but I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue. I have a 4.7L with the 545rfe, 3.53 rear 2wd 2004 QC. I just had it come back from the dealership to have both exhaust manifolds replaced (cracked both)a few weeks ago and finally had a need to floor it- but nothing normally exciting happened. It seems to be limiting itself to 3K rpm, no matter what gear it's in. In neutral or park, it'll go above that. I tried it in 1, 2, D, and with o/d off. Nothing. limited to 3k and not a hair above it. Is it possible something happened to the computer when they replaced the manifolds? I'd like to hear other's opinions before the dealership tells me theirs. sorry if I sound like a noob

That's odd, normally the low rev limiter is used in Neutral and Park, sounds like something is backwards with your truck.

Are you sure it's a rev limiter and not just "bogging" down?
