Today I changed my oil since I am leaving to go on a trip fri morning and today I was out and figured stop by walmart and pick up oil and a filter well I was in to big of a hurry I somehow picked up valvoline synthetic blend 5w-20( I normally use 10w-30) and I didnt realize this until I had half of it in and prob wouldnt of noticed if it wasnt for my phone ringing and me setting the bottle down on my fan shroud and noticed it when I was on the phone. So I said screw it cause I had to go pick up stuff for the trip and put the rest of it in I thought it would be fine but now instead of my oil pressure being almost 3/4 of the way all the time it will slowly drop to about 1/4 if you are stopped for a period of time. So what do you think should I change it again before fri or could I wait about 400 mi.

 

Definately change it!! That oil is way to thin and you'll probably end up burning it as it gets past the rings.

 

Thanks, I kinda figured it needed to be changed looks like im taking the dump truck with the rhino in the bed to school tom I bet ill stick out in a red dump truck haha
