Default dakota tires

i got a 99 dakota quad cab and im running 235/75/15 on it.i got a set of 215/75/15 winter tires whitch is what the truck calls for,if i put on the 215s will it hurt or improve the mileage?

The factory tires are what will give you the best mileage. The difference between the 235s and the 215s in mileage is barely noticable. I run 235s usually. Right now I have 30x9.50 but am lookin to go back to 235s for winter because they handle better. The only noticable difference is the way the truck drives. Better accel. etc..
