3" lift for 33" tires?

Question 3" lift for 33" tires?

I'm looking for a decent lift kit to run 33" tires on my 99 Dakota extended cab.
heres what i found on ebay... let me know what you think.

Also to install the keys do i need a special tool? is the install a pain in the ***?

For the front just get the weight off the front and change your keys then the same for the back. It should come with directions telling you what you need to do. All you should need is just reg hand tools

is there a downside to doing this lift? it looks cheap and effective

The only down side is that you will have a stiffer ride. Also that ebay kit is a little high. Even for ebay. I would keep searching.

puts more stress on the torsion bars and gives you a little bit rougher ride thats really it.

I posted that as an example mostly, but thats exactly what i was looking for, a COMPLETE kit!
any suggestions?
also with that 3" kit can i run 33" tires?

well the stress cause any short term issues with the TB? Im sure that long term it will but will these ruin front ends?

I also saw this in the FAQ section and was wondering if anyone has done it and how it turned out. My welding skills are defiantly still in the beginners range lol

hmm i might do this lift as theres a set of 33" bfg mud terrains on rims for $500 in my area, and i want 0 rubbage

Oh I intend to do it for sure! My question is can I crank the TB before using these? And are the keys the same for the V8 TB and the V6? Im thinking I can get some serious lift from the front doing all 3 of these

Id LOVE a set of 35's to fit and not rub!!
