Default Question

I was thinking about taking a look at this surplus Dodge Dakota and I was wondering if any of you guys had experience with this model or if this state car would have any add ons - you know like cop cars.

If you are looking for a green pickup truck that can do things that you can't even imagine then you should check out this current online auction for a 2000 Dodge Dakota. This SUV is not only the color of money, it also features 4 x 4 wheel drive, a 6 cylinder 3.9 liter engine, manual 5 speed transmission, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt wheel steering, and an estimated mileage of 68,576. Sounds like too good of an opportunity to pass up.

wow, sounds like a power used car dealer right there,

they probly used it to move stuff from point A to point B,
i doubt they added anything.

but you did answer a question ive had, i've seen a dak around here in that color, now i know where he got it lol

In my experience with state owned vehicles, they may be low milage, but if you could include all the time they sat idling, they'd have about a billion miles on them. Also, they beat the living hell out of those vehicles and maintain them as little as they can get away with... which is why they don't typically keep them much over 75,000 miles. I'd stay away from it if I were you.

true that, i worked for the NPS this summer and thoes vehicles are definitely abused the **** out of. i had a 91 chevy crew cab 3+3 POS.
it had 90k miles on it. That tranny was f-ed up you put in reverse and it sounded like a ton a cinder blocks fell in the bed. and the tires were so bald that i was basically driving on the wire stuff below the tread.

Most company cars get abused. When i delivered furniture one of the drivers prefered one of the trucks (not unusual by any means) but only because it was his "rally model....

The tranny blew up in if, just in case anyone was wondering lol. Got us a new truck, CD player was sooooo welcome

Yeah im sure its been abused just think about it you have a truck you dont pay for your boss does so you beat it. My boss had to get a job since work was slow and he has a 06 chevy 2500 hd well he still does some work on the side and sunday we got the tree spade stuck(about 23,000lb) had two trucks hooked on it one was his company truck 4 low and we had the tires smoking got it all on camera
