Default Check engine light

Hi everybody,

I would like to know if there is another way to erase code than a scanner.

I have p0300,0302,0303,0304 (multiple misfire)

Somebody told me that if i correct the problem and i run with the truck it will erase by itself !!!

Is it true ?

Thank's

unhook the ground cable, then touch that cable to the positive battery cable. then hook the ground cable back up and the CEL will be gone.

If you don't want to touch them together, just unhook the battery and then come back and hook it back up a couple minutes later and the CEL will be off. If the problem hasn't actually been fixed, the light will just come back on after driving for awhile. If the problem HAS been fixed, the light shouldn't come back on.

Also if the problem has been fixed, and the light hasn't gone out yet, it should. May just take an hour or 2 of driving... Otherwise just unhook the battery and it should stay off.
