Don't worry, the college I go to hasn't closed the campus in 10 years... There could be 4 feet overnight and all of my professors would make it. They would snow shoe if they had to I think...

I wish 5 degrees was the coldest I've experienced lol, but I've been in -40 once, and -30 a dozen times.

yeah last winter i went up to lake of the woods in canada for a fishing trip in january and it touched -45*F. that was pretty intense. besides that we got a few inches of snow here in the Chi, woke up to the sound of snowblowers lol.

Hey rt, did you ever end up getting those wheels you were looking at a couple months back? Never heard anything more after you asked if we thought you should get them.

so go figure the time it actually starts snowing here and i get a flat tire on the way to work.
now i gotta see about getting a new one and there is only one place near me that sells nittos they better not try and screw me or ill have to get it online and wait for it to be shipped

Damn that sucks. Is the tire ruined? Or can it be patched and saved for the time being?

nah its ruined there is a groove around the entire sidewall from rubbing on the ground or something im really pissed about it

I know what you mean. I'm in Houston....we got like 1/4 inch here a few weeks ago....schools and day cares closed, work let out early, all kinds of people crashing into each other on the freeways. It was pure craziness! The people down here have a hard enough time driving in the rain....god forbid it starts snowing! lol

Woke up this morning and we have about 14 inches so far and its still coming down. Some towns in CT reported 18-20 inches...
