Smile 1998 Dodge Dakota 2.5 engine

Greetings to everyone in this forum. Just recently purchased a 1998 Dodge Dakota 2.5, 5speed. I love this truck, but I am in need of solme advice and help.
I have a hole in the seam of the bottom of the muffler. No problem, order a new one. I ordered it through the autoparts store I work at. The muffler is as big as a house. It's a Walker muffler, part # 40251. The muffler that is on the truck now is a much smaller muffler and round in shape.
Any help on getting the correct muffler would be greatly appreciated.
