Two Questions?
Does my 98 Dak have a positive rear? slt, 3.9 magnum. Also just as we get the biggest snowfall my washer for the windshield quit. I hear the pump but no spray...it's cold outside so what should I check first? Thanks! It's not frozen, checked a few days ago when it was warmer and it didn't work....noticed it took a while to prime before I would get any fluid a few weeks ago.

you may want to look at all your tubing for the washer, sounds like it's sucking air from somewhere. as far as your rear end goes, try the sticker that should be in the glove box. if that doesn't work, try the FAQ section of this forum. there is usually some good info there
For the rear axle, jack up the back, and spin one tire. If the other spins the same direction it's limited slip, if the other spins the opposite direction, it's open. Of course, there is always the offchance that you have a worn out limited slip that is now acting like an open diff, but the only way to know that for sure is to take the cover off and look.
Most likely you have an open rear differential, but look in the glove box and there is a stick with various information on it. That sticker should have all the rear axle information.
Of course you could always do a burnout and find out lol.
