Default Grinding while turning

I own a 2000 Dodge Dakota and just noticed a grinding sound while turning. the gridning is more intense at high speeds (lane changing on the highway is the worst). I checked the powersteering fluid and it was darker than i'd like so i'm going to drain and refill it. if you have any suggestions, please send them my way

On my buddy's ram he had one of the clips on the brake caliper grinding against the back of his rim, check for stuff like that.
