Default HS 1.7 Roller Rockers and Zinc break in?

Picked myself up a set from Summit today. I need a decent torque wrench before I put them on though. They recommend soaking them in oil or an additive that containts zinc and runninig the same thing in the crank for 500-1000 miles. I have never heard of this in any of the install threads I have read. How important is it?

I will report back with a butt dyno after i get them in

I havnt heard that either, just to pour oil on em before you put the valve cover on. You dont have to but it will sound horrid for a minute as the oil gets pulled up.

be sure to take pics and such

Well this came on a sheet in the box

"We highly recommend soaking these rocker arms over night in "break in oil" that contains zinc prior to installation and the use of zinc break in oil or additive for the first 500-1000 miles of use.

***failure to do this may cause premature wear that is not covered by our warranty***"
