ok, i need to know if anyone here has ever had rack and pinion probs out of their 97-03 dak. ive had two now with less than 100,000 miles on them and the damn thing squeaks like crazy!!! i know its not any bushings, i have checked, and lubed all of them. all ball joints have been replaced, and the sound comes from the r&p. it squeaks when u hit a bump, turn the wheel, any movement that involves the wheel being moved in any form. on my previous truck i had tried tried the lucas power steering additive, supposed to stop all squeaks, well it did for about an hour, then it started again. ive not tried that on this truck now, but prolly gonna give it a try this weekend. I wanted to know how many other people have experience this problem if anyone else has. any info is great!!

 

never had it, im at 125K
