spline count for locker

i am looking at getting an aussie locker for my 99 dakota, i think i have a 29 spline axle shaft count. is this right?

Yes 29 is correct! Can't beat the traction of a locker. I love it!

As long as it's an 8.25, it's 29 splines. If it's a 9.25, it's 31 splines.
