Real bead locks are not DOT approved for on highway use. they are bead lock simulators that are just bolted on.

summit said the cragers don't support them, j/c

r u gonna put the chrome ones on ur silver truck?
might match better. (imo)
No Im getting black. I'm not a fan of chrome for a everyday use vehicle. Salt and sand will eat the chrome for breakfast.

chrome is a bitch to keep clean...that's why I ditched the chrome cragar caps and got some aluminum. I wouldn't recommend anyone getting the rims I have unless you live in a good area...mine are getting eaten up from Chicago winters. The original fake bolts got rusted out, and because the way the rim is designed, the paint gets eaten up at where the bolts are installed. So far it has been a bitch to maintain, so that's why I've decided that I'll be keeping these guys as offroading rims this summer. I still have my stock rims in which I'll powdercoat for daily driving. If you do plan on cragars...I just recommend the soft8 style or if you like the D style just get the beadless one. That's my recommendation for daily driving set.

The paint on the rim is good. Just the thing about my rims is that the paint can crack easily only at the inner part where the fake beads are at cuz it's pretty thin, so salt during winter will eat it up. The soft 8s are just circles around the rim, and well...there are 8 of them, heh.

I don't like chrome because of the winter, but I think it might look better on mine, not sure yet...

I can always use the stockers in the winter...

No not seriously... None of those trucks would be a good off road truck. I guess you don't off road much. Yeah I would blow some donuts in a muddy field with them but never actually do any offroading. They are way to big and someone that knows anything about offroading knows you want the smallest wheel with a larger tire to get the most sidewall. Thats like common sense.

Btw you notice how all of those trucks are spotless... Probably just like half the people that buy big trucks and lift them. They do it to be "cool" and never use them. You would never use a vehicle with that long of a wheel base or that wide if you were a serious off roader.
