tough break. least u missed ur radiator and didn't break ur neck.
same thing happen to me on a steep off ramp. hit the ice at 30 and almost went into a ditch that coulda flipped me. i lucked out and hit a few wooden suryeing stakes and that slowed me enough to get traction and get back on the road.

so if ur gonna hit somthing find the softest thing and hit it square.

Hey look at it this way at least you didnt mess up more than that side. Couple weeks ago wrecked the ram and not only does the front need replaced but also the passenger bed side and rear bumper.

You prob missed one or two. I changed the fender on my bosses f350 and I ended up taking a grinder with a cut off wheel and just cut the fender off. turns out to get it off the bumper grille and head lights needed to come off to ge the last two bolts out. What a crappy design im sure thats how it is on our trucks too. Just remember you cant mess up that fender anymore than what it already is.

Check behind everything and around all the edges its a lot easier if you have the new fender that you can look at.
