New DIY'er
Hey Everyone,
My names Brody. I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota 2WD 3.9L. Love the truck but have been having a few issues lately. Had the P0304 code constantly bothering me for a little while but gave the truck a tune up (new cap, rotor, plugs) and it's fine now. Had a squeaky belt before that. Learned about the idler pulley and the do's and don'ts of the serpentine belt. I've got a new problem though and I figure instead of searching forum after forum i'll just join one and see what happens. So here I am!
My new problem is the ABS and Parking Brake light. They only illuminate when I turn on my headlights though. If I leave the **** turned off (just the running lights) they don't light up. Based on this and the fact that everything works fine still (speed sensor ruled out as speedometer works fine still, brake fluid level is fine, fuses checked and appear ok) I can only assume it's a relay or problem with the electrical system....
Anyone heard of this problem?
Thanks!
Brody
