Default heater question

on a 2000 dakota which heat settings would use recirculated air? shutting off outside air.
vent? floor? floor/defrost? or defrost?
And does anyone know where the recirculating door and the blend doors are on this model?
please specify!

The recirculation mode is available in the panel and bilevel modes only. The door is on the passenger side of the vehicle and can be viewed from the floor area. It is controlled by a vacumn actuator with 2 green vacumn lines going to it.

When you say panel and bilevel, i dont know exctly what your referring to.is panel=dash vent and bilevel=dash vent and floor vent?
Then when it is Recirculating air, is the vaccum supposed to be sucking or not?

Panel = dash vent, bilevel = dash/floor. There are 2 vacumn lines to the actuator, it sucks on one to pull it one way and sucks on the other to pull it the other way.
