Default Blowing wiper fuses

So it just started snowing here in Kansas and I need some help, I can't drive my truck because the wiper fuses keep blowing. My wipers just quit after driving for a minute, so I changed out the fuse. But when I turn on the key with the wiper switch off the new fuse blows. I changed out the fuse again and it blows again. What can be causing this?

Do not replace it with a bigger fuse. That will only cause more problems. If it keeps blowing fuses then what you have is a short to ground. Check the wiring for wires touching or a power wire touching straight to a piece of metal. If you don't see anything the wiper motor itself could be internally shorted.

So I took off the cowl and blew out the connection point at the motor and that somehow seemed to fix. Thanks for the advise though
