tranny problems

got a 97 4x4 v8 problem is that the transmission is not shifting to third most of the time, sometimes i'll shift late or i have to let off the gas then i,ll go in third
then forth any ideas at what i might be faced with had the trans fluid changed 2 years ago.

sounds like you have a typical dodge automatic transmission. i'm sorry.

Well, here is the good thing. 1. It's more than likely not any wear parts, it's probably a sensor, or a valve body passage that is blocked off.

do you have a Check Engine Light?
