i have been reading up on doing this to my 00 quad cab for some time now. if anybody knows where i can get a cummins 3.9 with out losing my left nut it would be greatly appreciated. also, can this motor be bolted to a nv 4500 trans. i would like to start aquiring parts so i can begin this summer.

 

i know most commercial step vans (Fed ex, Frito Lay, etc) use the 4bt 3.9L motor, i would check out craigslist to find a donor vehicle
