Default 98 dodge dakota club cab 5 speed

i need help on my dodge dakota... its a 98 dodge dakota club cab 5 speed 2.5l... is there any upgrades like engines swaps like v6 or v-8?? i really want this small motor out.... no power at all...

If you are going to do a swap I would suggest trying to forget that the V-6 even exist. Just go ahead and go with a V-8 and be done with it. And yes, it has become quite common to do a swap. Check the stickys

might as well sell the truck and buy a V8 truck. you would have to weld in new motor mounts, not to mention that 5-speed wont handle a V8.

how much work is the v8 swap buddy? i have money and time... just want to make a sleeper, everybody thinks its a four banger...lol... nice!!!
